Sparkly Trees

I stamped the single tree from Lovely As a Tree in both Handsome Hunter and Old Olive a few times onto Naturals White CS. Distressed with Creamy Caramel. Matted with the two greens and put on a CC CS. I then sparkled only the main tree. Ribbon is a find frm Michaels.

I used the swirl and the sentiment from Delightful Decorations stamp set to do the tag.

This one started out as a quilt card, but I sort of got carried away. I do like it tho.

Hope you enjoy!!

Another Wreath

I switched up the colors this time. Handsome Hunter, Elegant Eggplant and Lavender Lace look yummy together. The sentiment is done in Old Olive (my fav green this year).

Season's Greetings

Another one! You've all seen this stamp - Lovely as a Tree (SU), but I never get tired of it. I always do a Christmas card with it - okay, maybe more that one.

I glittered the star, as well as the trees.

Hope you enjoy. TFL!!

Recipe For Box

Here's the recipe for the Stationery Box that's pictured previously.

Base: Score 12" x 12" CS at 5" and 7". In the other direction, score at 3" and 9", the cut sides at score lines into the 5 & 7 score lines. Fold these flaps into the center and glue down (for extra support). This is the bottom of your box. Cut 1-3/4" off each side of the top panels only. Score the bottom flaps 1" in from each side.

Box Lid: Score a 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" CS at 1-1/4" on all four sides. Embellish as you desire.

Card Holder: Score a 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" CS at 1-1/4" on both short sides and one long side. Trim corners and apply glue or sticky strip to scored sections. Fold up the top of the card box and attach to the two sides that were cut and the bottom.

Gold Angel

This one was quite simple. Just heat embossed the angel on shimmer paper from SU and frame it with gold paper, cut with my round nesties. I set that on the new Bride paper from SU. I tied a red bow (this one looks lethargic) on the bottom and pasted that onto real red cardstock. It looks quite elegant (except for the lazy one), but simple.

Christmas Card Box

Here's what we made at our last card class. I think this is so cool!! We made six 4 1/2 X 5 cards, four 3 X 3 cards and four tags to go inside. We then made a loop to hold the pen. OMG - I forgot to make a little envelope to hold the stamps!! It goes under the pen. It all folds up and the lid holds it together. It even has ribbon for a handle!!

This was so much fun. It'll make a great gift!!

Happy Halloween

It's spooky night. I hope everyone have all their ghosts, witches and princesses all ready to go. Mine are more excited about getting their dad ready - first time he's let them dress him up!!!

Anyways, here's my newest card. Yes, it's another Christmas card. I can't seem to stop doing them! At least I have a friend I can give my extras to.

Hope you enjoy this one.

Red Tree

This one is cased too. I got it from Creations by Corie and she got it from

Laura from Scrapnextras. Hers are much better, but I had to try. I think I got the dimensions wrong. I still like it tho. Oh, have you noticed I like this tree, too.

Thanks for visiting.

Card stock: SU very vanilla, choc chip & white

Ink: SU real red

DP: Michaels

Embellies: SU real red grosgrain ribbon & red gems

Chocolate

Okay. I'm having a chocolate run; you'd never know it, tho. The first color I reach for is chocolate. This one I ran with it. I took creamy caramel card stock, put choc chip ink on my embossing folder and then embossed. I love the effect. I found this designed paper with the cute penguin on it and matted it with glorious green.
Sparkled 'winter' and matted it in bravo burgundy. Another ribbon from Michaels finishes it off.
Hope you like and thanks for visiting.

Dasher

I loved this stamp from the moment I saw it. Red, green and choc brown CS; real red ink; white gel pen and ribbon I found at Michaels (I think). Used scallop scissors for the bottom.

Cased

This card is a case by Kim Richards that I found on Michelle Habib's blog, O 2 B Stampin! I love the colors, the paper (love the new wedding papers from SU) and the stamps.

Thanks for visiting.

Merry

This one is definitely fun, quick and easy. I love these colors.
I cut the letters out with my Cuttlebug then sparkled them with heat n stick and diamond dust. Stamped a dn cut out mittens. Used martha Stewarts edging stamp on the bottom of the card face, as well as on the inside. I popped the mittens to give it some depth.
Leave your blogger address and I'll definitely be over to visit yours!!

Wow

I llloooovvveee this one!!

And I had fun doing it. I stamped the image with choc chip ink onto watercolour paper, then used my aqua pen and real red ink. I didn't use choc chip staze on ink, so the veins of the poinsettia faded a bit and some of the choc chip ink mixed with the red. Used summer sun marker to color the center
I'm very pleased with the result!

Finished it off with ribbon, brads, distressing and a word.

New Stamp Set

I HAD to play, right? I like the result. You can't see it, but the inside has versa marked snowflakes around the edges, same as the green strip on the front.

Snowflakes

My youngest daughter said I HAD to use this stamp. They are a little bigger than inchies, so a longer card was the trick. Glittered them up and she was happy. Now for the homemade envelope.........?
